Is ADSL/ADSL2+ available in my area?

Answer

There are a number of good online services that will check if your local exchange is ADSL or ADSL2+ enabled. One good option is Broadband Choice: http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/

That is a good starting point, but just because your exchange is enabled does not mean you can get ADSL or ADSL2+. Other factors, including the length of copper wire between you and the exchange or other network design features may mean that you are still unable to get ADSL or ADSL2+ service.

Once you decide to place an order, our customer service staff will be able to check through our online provisioning system to give a greater surety that service will be available, but even that is not guaranteed. Sometimes we just cannot tell until our upstream suppliers attempt to provision the service.  If service is not available, your connection fee will be refunded in full.

Help us raise more money for community projects!

By clicking on the "aShopFor" link below, and purchasing through the huge collection of online retailers available using the links provided, those retailers pay us a contribution (the amount is listed). We are putting 100% of money raised in this way to boost money raised with our Profit Promise. You do not need to be a Water Sprite customer, or be in any other way associated with us. Feel free to pass this link on to other people (in its entirety, so the payments come back to us) to help us fundraise for rural and regional communities.
